Q & A about the LeadHERship Cruise
Q: Is this a “women only” cruise?
A: No. Men want to have fun and be empowered too, so men have also made the smart decision to sign up. Many fewer than women, but it’s not a “women only” cruise.
Q: I haven’t signed up because I don’t have anyone to share a cabin with.
A: No problem. $459 for an interior cabin for the entire cruise (including seminars and all that yummy food and gala parties) is based on 2-person occupancy but you’re not alone. Just let us know if you need a roommate. Settle down, men. We’re only pairing up women with women. : )
Q: I’m hesitant to sign up because I’m a little shy and won’t know anyone on the cruise.
A: Ours is a small group and our speakers are caring, loving people who will make everyone feel welcome. You’ll enjoy the camaraderie and if you need some alone time, you can have that too
Q: What about when we’re off the ship?
A: If you want to swim with dolphins in Cozumel, Mexico, you’ll be with our group of people who choose to do that. And if you want to see the Mayan ruins and pyramids, you’ll go with those who want to do that. And there are quite a few other choices as well. Q: I’ll be flying in to Miami. What time should I plan to arrive?
A: Ah, we have a special luncheon planned for you on Thursday, April 25. (No extra charge since sponsors are picking up the tab.) So, although the ship leaves at 4 PM, you’ll want to arrive sometime in the morning or the day before. Call Wanda at Network Travel if you need a hotel room: 1-888-837-6504.
Q: How will I get from the airport to the pier where the ship is?
A: Carnival has transportation from both Fort Lauderdale and Miami airports. You can either call Wanda at Network Travel 1-888-837-6504 or visit Carnival for more information.
Q: What clothes should I bring?
A: Whatever makes you comfortable, but don’t forget your swimsuit and walking shoes. And don’t be concerned about overdressing for dinner. If dressing up is fun for you, get as fancy as you want. We assure you at least one of our speakers will always dress in swanky, glamorous outfits.
Q: Anything else I should know?
A: Yes, we’re serious about empowering you to be the best you can possibly be. So onboard you’ll get a chance to try on the new you. The last night at sea we’re having a “COME AS YOU’LL BE IN 2013” gala event. Start thinking about how you’ll creatively express the “you” you’ll be ten years from now.
